"Whoo-hoo, check out this beautiful large mouth bass! Bubba is 29 inches long, caught by a guest while staying in cabin #5. ( pictured in background ) Fishing at Sweet Valley Cottages is catch and release, so he might even be bigger now. Try your luck, maybe you'll be next to reel in BUBBA."
For around 50 years our family has been stocking the lake at Sweet Valley Cottages. We seem to have achieved a great balance of Bass, Trout, and Bluegills, with a few Catfish thrown in for good measure. Since we have converted to "Catch and Release" recreational fishing we are seeing an increase in the size of our fish.
Fishing at the "cottages" can be done from the shoreline or our row boat, available for our guests. Fishing here is just a whole lot of fun for everyone. Even the beginners have a great time and good luck catching bluegills.
